Burbank “ Andrew W. Christian, 90, passed away peacefully Sept. 25, 2015.
Andy was born April 24, 1925 in Saginaw, MI. He was raised there by his parents Leroy Christian and Blanch (Pardridge) Christian along with his two brothers Larry and Kenneth. He met Trudy (Belusa) after he returned from service in the Army in India.  He and Trudy married on July 31, 1948 in Tawas MI. They enjoyed 65 years together.
After his retirement from the Chevrolet division of General Motors, where he worked for 30 years, he enjoyed living in the house in the woods that he and his sons had built, tending the land, cutting firewood and caring for his pets. He and his wife Trudy traveled extensively for fun and family visits and were also avid marbles collectors, as were many of their friends.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry and his wife Trudy. He is survived by his sons Rudy Christian (wife Laura Saeger) Ohio, David and Robert Christian, Oregon and his daughter Linda (Jim) Schwed, Florida.
Grand children; Dakota (wife Lyndsay), Eowyn, Seth in Oregon, Leila, Maurice, Travis in California, Carson (wife Johanna) in Ohio, and great grandchildren Kiara and Anise in Oregon, Elizabeth in California and Elliott in Ohio.
Services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.   A procession will form at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster at 1:15 p.m. to go to the cemetery.
