WOOSTER – A bright, engaging, and warm beacon of light in the lives of many was extinguished on January 12, 2018 when a loving, kind, intelligent and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend left us after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer.
Ann, 57, of Wooster, died at Life Care Hospice secure in the final loving embrace, both physical and spiritual, of family and friends.
Ann Kieffaber was born March 9, 1960 in Wooster. Her parents are Marvin and Wanda (Lawrence) Kieffaber.   Ann married Greg Grambush on July 17, 2010.
Those who survive Ann, in addition to her mother and husband are Mary (Edward) O’Farrell of New Philadelphia; Dan (Tabitha) and Katelyn Kieffaber of Millersburg; nephew Joshua (Christin) O’Farrell and their sons Liam and Jameson of Green; niece Meghan Quinn (David Casado) O’Farrell of Madrid, Spain; nieces Bridget (Steve) Frantz and children Luke, Olivia and Colleen; special aunt Phyllis Betz of Glen Mills, PA; and Ann (Don) Helms, her life-long (BFF) of Navarre Beach, FL.
Also, brothers and sisters-in-law and their families: Gary (Denice) Grambush of Grand Haven, MI; Kim (Neal) Borror of Millington, IL; Cindy (David) Kita of Flushing, MI; and Craig (Susan) Grambush of Braden Twp., MI.
Ann was preceded in death by her father and brother, Gary; also, father-in-law and mother-in-law David L. Grambush and Kathleen B. Grambush.
Ann will be remembered as a ceaseless and committed advocate for animal care, serving as the Executive Director of GivePetsAChance, a charity providing financial assistance for companion pet healthcare, as well as other civic and community causes.
Ann was well-known from automobile Sales, Finance and Insurance components of local automobile dealerships and financial institutions.   Also, Ann was a deputy clerk in the Wayne County Motor Vehicle Title Office of the Clerk of Courts.
In lieu of flowers, and if so inclined, Ann would be honored by medical donations to the Wayne County Dog Shelter, www.waynedogshelter.org/wish-list, LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster 44691, who so lovingly, capably, and compassionately embraced Ann in her final days, providing her with a dignified and peaceful death, and to the American Cancer Society.
There will be no calling hours. Services for Ann will be held at 11:30 on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mcintirebradhamsleek.com. A reception in her honor and memory will follow at the Wooster Elks Lodge, 335 N. Market St.
