Barbara A. (Watercutter ) Taylor, went home to be with the Lord after a period of declining health on July 6, 2016, at Life Care Hospice of Wooster.
Born on September 23, 1932, in Mc Cartysville, Ohio, to Benjamin and Matilda (Volbert) Watercutter.
Married on October 14, 1950 to George R. Taylor (he survives), and had celebrated 65 years of marriage
In the years before her health declined, Barbara loved to bowl, golf, crochet   and cross stitch. Many blankets were made for her children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren.   She won several ribbons at the fairs for her cross stitch talents.
Her family will remember her as being a compassionate wife, mother and grandmother. A   woman with a strong will, always wanting things a particular way and a woman with a heart to do, whatever she could to help her family. She always loved to watch her grandchildren when they were young and as her sight and her health declined, this was the hardest for her to give up.
Barbara was known in her later years, even after her sight was very limited for baking her zucchini bread and sharing this with many of her neighbors.   Always her way of showing them her love and care, even though she had limitations.
She also would say the rosary for anyone who had an ailment or a concern. Her children and grandchildren knew daily that she was praying for them   and you could count on her letting you know that she had done so.  Almost everyday, in the nicer months, you would find her taking her daily walks around their neighborhood, always stopping to rest or chat with a neighbor, wearing her Hollywood sunglasses and   MVNU baseball   cap from her grandson.
Barbara was the youngest of 10 siblings, who have all preceded her in death. Brothers, Greg, Pete, John, Paul, Gust and sisters, Cecelia Geise, Lena Eyink, Verona Frankenburg, Katherine Elsass and Martha Kinstler . She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her husband and children, Thomas (Connie) Taylor of Orrville,   Denise (Michael) Dhayer of Wooster,   Deanna (Olen) Schlabach of Shreve, as well as grandchildren;   Dori (Nathan) Eggan,   Dustin (Kristin) Taylor, Tara Figura, Alex Dhayer, Corey (Tiffany) Schlabach,   Noel (Eddie) Schafrath, Mariah Schlabach, Gavin Schlabach, Andrea (Kevin) Merkle and Shaun Phillips.
 Great grandchildren: Abigail, Elizabeth, Matthew, Luke, Aden, Jaxson, Alyssa, Logan and Gavin.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard on August 11, 2015.
Services will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary ™s Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster, Ohio, with a Mass of Christian Burial, followed by a time of visitation with family and friends.
The family would like to again thank the compassionate staff of LifeCare Hospice for all the care and love that they showed to Mom and to our family during this difficult time.
