Wooster “ Betty Jean Rohrer, 88, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born August 7, 1928 in Darke County the daughter of Walter and Carrie Brown Haller.                      
She attended the United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching Joel Osteen on TV.   She always put her children first and often worked two jobs to provide for them while growing up.   Betty liked to read Danielle Steele Novels, gardening, dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a Lady Schriner for over 10 years where met her best friend, Ruth Clark of Naples, Florida, and they enjoyed traveling to different cities and preforming in the parades.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Cathy (Terry Nicholson)  Hochstetler  of Wooster, Sharon (John) Bryant  of New Paris and her son Larry Rhoads of Dayton.   She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a sister Carolyn Dearth of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John F. Rhoads, a granddaughter, Sarah Rhoads and sisters Mary Schaffer and Lelah Agler.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Smithville Western Care Center and LifeCare Hospice for the excellent care given to their mother.
