Betty Jeane BECKER, 77, of Wooster, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born November 16, 1937 in Holmesville, to Paul and Edna Livingston Phillabaum.   In 1958, she married Richard Becker, who preceded her in death in 2011.
Betty worked in banking until her first child was born and then she was a stay at home mom.   Betty enjoyed being a mom, grandma and working in her garden, enjoyed many years of vacationing in Michigan and trips to Myrtle Beach.   She and her husband also took many bus trips.   She was a member of the First Church of God.
She is survived by her sons Douglas Becker of Fredericksburg, Kelly (Patty) Becker of Dalton and Todd (Cindy) Becker of Shreve; grandchildren Courtney (Narinh) Khongphatthana, Aaron, Dillon, Michaela, Logan, Eric and Brianna Becker and great grandchildren Alexa, Tristan and Brycen.
Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Tim Hull officiating.   Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers of Smithville Western Care Center and LifeCare Hospice for taking care of our mother and grandmother.
