Betty Lou Craig, 86, of Westerville, formerly of Wooster died Tuesday January 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born March 9, 1929 in Canton to Alfred and Lillian Brogan Deeser.  
Betty graduated from Aultman Hospital School of Nursing in 1950 and worked as a registered nurse at Wooster Community Hospital and various nursing homes in the Wooster area.   She was a long time member of the Church of the Cross Methodist Church in Wooster.   Betty moved to Westerville last year to be closer to family.
She enjoyed gardening, knitting and quilting.   She and Ken loved spending winters at their home in Nokomis, FL.
Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth; daughters Rebecca (Mike Tootell) Craig of Delaware, Laura (Jerry) Ensley of Columbiana and Susan (Robert) Brooks of Westerville; grandchildren Gregory (Katie) Ensley of Boardman, Jason (Gretchen) Becker of Brownsburg, IN, Carrie (Steve) Marks of Boardman, Ashley (Ted) Clark of Dublin, Megan (Casey) Mulberry of Florence, KY, Kersten (Curtis) Barnette of Columbus and Kara Brooks of Columbus; 12 great grandchildren and a brother Jack Deeser of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert and Alfred Deeser, Jr.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Kristen Patt officiating.   Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
