Brian Blaine Taylor, 56, of Land O ™ Lakes, Florida, (formerly of Wooster, Ohio) died August 1, 2016, from injuries received in a July 13 automobile accident in Florida.
Brian was born October 18, 1959 to Blaine and Betty (Stutzman) Taylor in Wooster. Brian was an Eagle Scout. He attended Wayne County Career Center, and graduated from Wooster High School in 1978. After high school, he worked several years at OARDC in Wooster. In 1989, Brian received a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University in Columbus. After graduation, he worked for Kalmbach Feeds in Upper Sandusky. Brian returned to Wooster in 1990, and worked as manager of the Holmes County Soil and Water Conservation Service.
On March 13, 1983, Brian married Tari Lengacher at Oak Chapel Methodist Church in Wooster. For the past 16 years, the couple has lived in Land O ™ Lakes, Florida with their three dogs: Ali, Sami, and Alex. Brian proudly owned and managed Taylor Garage Doors, a successful small business in the community. Brian and Tari loved their lakeside home. They enjoyed sharing their lives with œadopted  family and friends in the Lake Padgett community, where they enjoyed water sports, potluck suppers, and themed get-togethers. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends.
Brian was a cherished family member, and lovingly touched the lives of his many friends. He will be remembered for the love, kindness and joy he bestowed on them, but mostly for his unmistakable sense of humor.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Tari; his mother, Betty Taylor of Walnut Hills Retirement Community in Walnut Creek; father and mother-in-law, Russell and Suddie Lengacher of Wooster; sisters, Kathy (Bill) Greene of Columbus, and Sharon (Neal) Baker of Lakeville; brothers-in-law, Randy (Jean) Lengacher of Creston, and Michael (Sally) Lengacher of Wooster; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie (Carl) Calhoun, and Kim (Bob) Weaver, both of Wooster; nieces, Michelle (Aaron) Damico, Elise Greene, Abby Lengacher, and Marley Weaver; nephews, Collin Greene, Cabot Baker, Rusty Lengacher, and Michael Shane Lengacher; and great nieces, Mairi Rose and Genevieve Damico.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Blaine Taylor, in 2007; and his first wife, Hope (Shamp) Taylor, in 1990.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm and Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at The Oak Chapel Church, 4203 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster, with Reverend Chris Statz and Keith Bohley officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Wooster Cemetery.
