Charles W. Chuck Stein, of Wooster, passed away on July 13, 2018 after a prolonged fight with COPD.   He was 71.
Charles was born July 28, 1946 in Mansfield to George Albert and Ludmilla Phyllis (Ehrmantraut) Stein.
Chuck loved fishing, watching baseball, and anything else that involved spending time with his wife Kathleen, whom he cherished and was married to for 50 years.   He worked at the Quality Castings Company in Orrville for 38 years.   During his life, he was an assistant scoutmaster and active in the Sons of the American Legion.
Chuck is loved, missed, and survived by his wife Kathleen, sons Charles (Aimee) Stein of Orrville and Michael Stein of Kansas City, MO, a brother Darold Ehrmantraut of Wooster, grandson Nathaniel Stein, and many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating.   Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Shreve.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
