Condolences

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Purtz. I have very fond memories of her Spanish 1 class I took as a Freshman at Grandview Heights High School. Mrs. Purtz always wanted the best for her students and had such creative ways of teaching us foreign language - from poems and songs to presentations and skits. She left an imprint on the hearts of every single student who had the pleasure of knowing her. Thinking of your family + sending you positive thoughts during this difficult time.

Fritz, I got to know Deb at St. John's and liked her very, very much. I am so sorry for your loss.

I taught with Deb in Grandview. I also teach Spanish. She had such a zest for life and a passion for people. My deepest condolences are with you.

Sorry Fritz, such a loss for you and your family. Your lovely wife may rest in peace. Take care of yourself, have been thinking of you two. Love Nancy I wish I could come, I will be in CA then, with my kids.

Fritz, I am so very saddened to hear this news. My thoughts are with you and your family. May she rest in peace.

We are so sorry for your loss, Purtz family. As dear friends of Diana's we know how much she loved and cherished her mom. She has left quite a legacy by raising such wonderful children. Our hearts are with you

I'm so saddened to hear this, there's so much valuable information Mrs. Party taught me and there are so many fond memories in her classroom starting from 5th grade on. She was an amazing woman and teacher. I'll always value the time I spent in her class and I'll always be thankful for her reaching out and helping me through my depression when my grandmother passed. My thoughts are with all of her family in this trying time.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Purtz when she came to visit Gunther, her sister's little dachshund, who we adopted after her sister's passing. She wanted to see that he was adjusting and happy in a loving home. We had a wonderful visit with her and want the family to know that Gunther is still the love of our lives at 9 1/2 years old. We are so very sorry for your loss.

My daughter Valerie would talk about how wonderful Diana's mom was, how she would remember her with e-cards during holidays and what a sweet and fun woman she was. It was always the intent to get the mom's out to Colorado at the same time because our daughter's felt we would be fast friends. I am so sad that never happened; you always think there is plenty of time. My husband and I got to meet Diana in Durango several years ago and if her sweet personality is anything like her mom's then I know she will be sorely missed.I've asked my husband to greet her at heaven's door.

Devon & Diana,
We are so sorry for loss, Your mother was a wonderful woman and I have great memories of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Fritz...Such heartbreaking news. Karen and I offer up prayers for you, Devon, & Diana. May your memories bring you solace and peace.

Debbie was a wonderful, accomplished woman who I looked up to as part of the group of Paulette and Sue Ann's friends. As P says, Debbie had the best of both worlds (i.e. career and family). I am very sorry for the loss to her family.
