WOOSTER “ Donald C. Glenn, 93, of Wooster died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
He was born February 9, 1924 in Shreve, the son of Carl and Relda Rutter Glenn.   He married Brenda Coppola in 1975.   She survives.
He had owned and managed various restaurants in the Wooster area.   Donald enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and gardening.
He proudly served his country with the Army Air Corp during WWII and graduated from the University  of Missouri.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Ryan Glenn of Wooster, Danny (Mary) Glenn of Dalton, Donnie (Heather) Glenn and Diane Glenn both of Apple Creek and Darlene (Steve) Wells of Ashland; step-children, William H. (Marie) Rutter and Christina Rutter both of Wooster; grandchildren, Hedi Glenn, Jennifer Glenn, Kimberly (Ruric) Stainback, Ashley (Jimmy) Zimmerman, Cassandra(David) Hradek, Dustin (Terri) Malcuit, Joey Malcuit, Nichole Malcuit, Marina Rutter, Armand Rutter, Enzo Rutter, Dustin Jacobs and Garret Jacobs; 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Donna Wilson, a granddaughter, Emily Glenn and his siblings, Fredrick Glenn, James Glenn and Bettye Jones.
There will be no calling hours and gravesides services will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
