WOOSTER - Donald Franklin MACKEY, 54, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his home.

He was born November 21, 1963 in Wooster, the son of Daniel Franklin and Shirley Ann Derr Mackey.

Donald had worked for Diamonite Products in Shreve.

Surviving is a sister, Barbara (Gary) Boales of Wooster and a brother, Daniel (Linda) Mackey of Canton and nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no calling hours or services.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help with expenses.

Barbara and Daniel, we were very sorry to hear about Donald. We remember you all from Northwestern High School, and it was very sad to read of Donald's passing. We will miss seeing him walk his faithful little dog companion along Smithville-Western, and we are thinking of all of you at this sad time.
