WOOSTER Dorothy Rinard, 82, of Wooster passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born December 19, 1933 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the daughter of Samuel P. and Gladys Inis Warner Taylor.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for others, cooking, being outdoors with her flowers and lawn, camping and traveling. She also enjoyed hiking, crossword puzzles, biking, her stories , horses, driving her jeep and feeding Fay and her feral cat, Patches.
She is survived by her children, Shelley Smith, David Rinard and Jody (Kevin) Stoffer all of Wooster and Ralph Butch Rinard of St. Petersburg, Florida; her grandchildren, Season (Brian) Cheeseman, Jordan Smith, Zach Rinard, Candice Stoffer and Callie Stoffer and a brother Richard Taylor of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Malcolm Rinard and her siblings, Betty Hissner, Robert, Chester, Edward, Carol, Mary and Herbert Taylor.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. service on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 7129 Cleveland Rd., Wooster with Hospice Chaplain, Tom Michaels officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
