WOOSTER “ Earl W. Greenwald, 72, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
He was born November 7, 1944 in Wooster.
He retired in 2005 after over 20 years as a tool and die mechanic at the Gerstenslager Co.   He was a member of the American Legion, the Eagles and AmVets.   He enjoyed camping, shooting archery, guns, cars and watching NASCAR.   He was a Dallas Cowboy ™s Fan.
He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Earl J. (Jamie) Greenwald of Wooster and Jorie (Gabe) Fahrney of Moreland; a granddaughter, Alice Ann Greenwald and his extended family, Michael Horner of Shreve and Sheila Hartzler, Brody, Brittany, Nick and Roger of Shreve.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wooster Cemetery Chapel.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
