She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to three daughters, and a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Edna was an active homemaker all her life, even while employed by the Wooster City Schools for 12 years as a school secretary. She was a devoted member of Central Christian Church in Wooster where she worshiped and helped prepare and serve many dinners. Edna participated in the Valley College Grange. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader and 4-H Adviser. Edna coordinated transportation for the girls to Girl Scout Camp and assisted at Girl Scout Day Camp. She always enjoyed sewing and knitting, especially for her family, having made sixteen quilts and giving all away but one.
