WOOSTER – Elizabeth Betty Nora Badger, 97, of Wooster died Friday, September 11, 2015 at Wayne County Care Center.
She was born August 20, 1918 in Wayne County to Archie and Minnie McAnaney Wile. On October 12, 1938, she married Lloyd A. Badger. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Betty was a homemaker and helped work on the family farm. She was a member of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved playing cards, bingo and mushroom hunting. Betty loved family gatherings and being with her family. Betty helped with the Board of Elections and the Wayne County Coon Hunters Association where she was a lifetime member. She was also a member of the Apple Creek American Legion Auxiliary and the Moreland Garden Club.
She is survived by her children Donna Stine of Wooster, Larry (Karen) Badger of Fredericksburg and Dee Ann (Steve) Gentry of Wooster; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sons Ronald and Rusty; a son-in-law Gary Stine and a sister Francis Beeler.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 215 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Wayne Co. Care Center for the excellent care and compassion shown to Betty during her stay at the Care Center.
