WOOSTER ” Eva M. Richard, 92 of Wooster, died on October 28, 2015.
She was born February 20, 1923, in Smithville, Ohio to Elias and Mabel (Lehman) Shisler.   She graduated from Smithville High School in 1940, and later attended Wooster Business College.   Prior to her marriage, she was employed as a secretary at the Ohio Boxboard in Rittman.   She married Elam R. Richard on September 5, 1943, who died on April 5, 1993.   They resided on a farm near Seville, Ohio.        
She spent her married life with Elam as a farm housewife raising four children.   They were active members of the Oak Grove Mennonite Church in Smithville, Ohio.   After Elam ™s death, she moved to Wooster where she spent her remaining years active in church activities, visiting family and enjoying time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  
She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Pete) Short of Goshen, IN, James M. (Marcy) Richard of Wooster, Sally (Kent) Schreck of Goshen, IN and Dale Richard of San Francisco, CA;
Grandchildren Douglas (Lynn) Short of South Bend, IN, Jonathon (Angie) Short of Goshen, IN, Michael (Molly) Richard of Wooster, Bradley (Cara) Richard of Columbus, OH, Anne (Ryan) Brown of Columbus, OH, Rebecca Schreck of Elkhart, IN and Katherine (David) Teall of Goshen, IN;
Great-grandchildren Jordan D. Short and Taylor C. Short of Goshen, IN, Lucas J. Short and Katelynn M. Short of South Bend, IN, Bennett C.   Short, Davis R. Short and Sawyer G. Short of Goshen, IN, James M. (Trey) Richard III and Bode M. Richard of Wooster, OH, Parker R. Richard, Carson M. Richard and Collins L. Richard of Columbus, OH, Benjamin C. Brown and Logan R. Brown of Columbus, OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Shisler, Wayne Shisler and Howard Shisler and her sisters, Mildred Rike, Lois Shisler and Twila McNeill.
Services will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Oak Grove Mennonite Church, 7843 Smucker Rd., Smithville with Pastor Douglas J. Zehr officiating.   Friends may call on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster or one hour prior to the service at the Church.  
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Oak Grove Mennonite Church at 7843 Smucker Road, Smithville, Ohio 44677.
