Frank W. Hess, 81, of Wooster  went home to be with Jesus on  Saturday, January 17, 2015 at West View Healthy Living.
He was born October 9, 1933 in Emlenton, PA to Homer T. and Lois G. Ritts Hess.   On June 19, 1975 he married Judy Gerken of Holgate, Ohio, who survives.
Frank was a graduate of Bradford (PA) High School in 1951.   He was a member of the Church of the Saviour and served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict with the 90th Bomb Squadron.   He had worked for First Laurel National Bank for 17 years, then went into business with his brothers Ted and Homer forming H & H Industrial from 1972-1984.   In 1985 he went into business with his son-in-law, Randy Bowers,  forming RVI.   Frank was a member of the Apple Creek American Legion, a past member of the Lions Club in PA, he sang in a barbershop quartet in Bradford, PA, was on the Board of Elders at Church of the Saviour and a member of the Christian Businessman ™s Connections.
Along with his wife, Frank is survived by his children Bruce W. (Mary Jane) Hess and Michele (Randy) Bowers both of Wooster, Lynn (Mark) Turnbow of Sterling, Steven (Nancy) Thomas of Holgate, Glen A. (Lori) Thomas of Polk and Tom (Susi) Thomas of Wooster; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters R. Jean Hutton of Bradford, PA and Thelma Niver of Navarre and brothers Homer of Bowling Green, KY and J. Larry of Parma.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Bonnie Carl on Dec. 23, 1974, a sister Geraldine Swartz and a brother Ted.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Road, Wooster with Rev. Brent Durham officiating.   Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM.
Interment will be on Monday January 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Service
