WOOSTER – George P Schivley, Jr., 83, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville.
He was born April 17, 1931 in Trenton, NJ, the son of George P and Evelyn Basch Schivley.   He married Margaret Dorothy Donchez on October 31, 1954.   She survives.
He was an Engineer for Ingersoll Rand for 42 years retiring in 1999.   Member of Wooster Kiwanis.   Served his country with the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Pamela (Tony) Sparzo-Elliott of Fishers, IN and George P Schivley III of Mentor and 7 grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. memorial service at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, May 23, 2014 with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating.
