Gloria Jean Airwyke, 73, of Wooster died Friday, May 13, 2016 at her home.
She was born May 20, 1942 in New London to Wilbur Markham  and Bertha Shambaugh.  
Gloria was a waitress for The Parlor for many years.   She enjoyed working, taking care of her family and going to the Wayne County Fair.
She is survived by her sons Rod (Ginna) Airwyke of Orrville and Steve Airwyke of Rittman; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother Terry (Peggy) Markham of Ashland; sisters Brenda (Dave) Lifer of Wooster and Vickie (Mike) Zellner of Union, MO., many nieces and nephews,  and her dog Rocky.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Airwyke in 1976, her parents, a son Randy in 2014 and a grandson Cory Airwyke in 2009.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating.   Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
