Helen Elizabeth Iannarelli, 91, of Wooster died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Wayne County Care Center.
She was born September 29, 1923 in Wooster to Henry and Irene J. Boyles Wyre.   In May 1956, she married Joseph Iannarelli.   He preceded her in death in 2004.
Helen graduated from Wooster High School in 1941 and from the St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1944.   She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.   Helen had worked as an R.N. in the old Kinney and Smith Hospital, at the Beason Clinic and had been a nurse with Dr. John Loudenslager for over 30 years.   She volunteered her time at the Community Center and at the Children ™s Home.   Helen was a member of the Lamplighters Ladies Auxiliary, the Tree City Quilt Guild and the Town and County Homemakers.
Helen is survived by her daughter Jane (Dean) Stair of Orrville, step-daughter Tina (Michael) Fox of Chapin, S.C.; grandchildren Deanna Lamb of Orrville, Teri (Mike) Kerrigan of Westerville, Tracey (Matt) Dixon of Pataskala, Eric (Christine) Fox of N.C. and Jane (Steven) King of Georgia; 8 great-grandchildren and a sister Pauline Gray of Wooster.
Along with her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charles Wyre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  
Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, where a Rosary service will be held at 5:30 PM
