James R. Hendershot, 65,of Medina passed away Friday November 28, 2014 at Medina Hospice.
He was born Nov. 9, 1949 in Fairmont West Virginia the son of Charles and Madaline Hall Hendershot.   On Jan. 20, 1973 he married Patricia A. Hand who survives.
James was the owner and general manager of Cleveland Plastic Films for 38 years before retiring in July of 2011.   He served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.   He had coached girls youth softball and enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, golfing and the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife of Medina.   A daughter; Kristine Hendershot, of Medina.   A sister;   Connie Chio, of Jeromesville. A niece;   Jill (Mike) Lifer, of Jeromesville. A nephew;   Jason (Salena) Chio, of Jeromesville, 5 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Rev. Debra Speer officiating.   Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 6-8 P.M.
