WOOSTER “ Jeff E. œBubba  Ballinger, 47, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
He was born July 8, 1968 in Columbus, the son of Joe and Judy Bush Ballinger.   He married Cathy Hershey on October 1, 1994 at St. Peter Lutheran Church.   She survives.
Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Linden McKinley High School and was a truck driver for over 26 years for Medina Paper Recycling and for Becker Farms.   He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg, a member of Northwestern All Sports Association and had coached softball and baseball for many years.
He enjoyed playing softball and attended his children ™s activities including them showing at the Wayne County Fair.   He also enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and especially fishing in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada with his family.
In addition to his wife, Cathy, he is survived by his children, Danielle and Joey both of the home, his father, Joe Ballinger of Columbus, his father and mother-in-law, Don and  Becky Hershey of Wooster, sisters, Jo Dee Steinert of Columbus and Jennifer (Shane) Valentine of Delaware, Ohio and brothers-in-law, Dave (Lori) Hershey and Ted (Anita) Hershey of Wooster and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Ballinger on September 8, 2011 and his grandparents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 2-6:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Rutherford Funeral Home, 2382 N. High St., Columbus.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Rd., Wooster with the Pastors John Wanamaker and Tim Bancroft officiating.   Burial will be in the New Pittsburg Cemetery.
