WOOSTER “ John Terrents œTerry  Lennon, 85, of Wooster passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Glendora Health Care Center.
He was born June 20, 1932 in Coshocton, the son of John Arthur and Mary Alice Stocker Lennon.   He married Sara œSally  Laird on February 15, 1958.   She survives.
He had worked as a lineman for Ohio Power (AEP) for 37-1/2 years.   He attended the Trinity United Church of Christ, loved playing euchre, going to the Hard Hat for breakfast and watching Jaret ™s baseball games.   His favorite vacation was a canoe trip from Loudonville to Coshocton with the boys.
He proudly served his country with the US Air Force during the Korean War and while stationed in Japan was the underwater distance champion.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Sara, are his children, Mary Louise (Cory) Allen of Victoria, Texas and Jon (Lora) Lennon of Wooster; brothers and sister-in-law, John R. Laird and Susan (Robert) Kestler both of Coshocton and Raymond Emler of Florida; grandchildren, Ashley (David) Spar of Wooster, Jonathan Stuart Lennon of Maryland, Clara Grace (Josh Pritchard) Allen of Austin, Texas and Jaret Scott Lennon of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James R. Lennon and a sister, Phyllis Emler.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
