Juanita I. VITARO, 92, of Wooster, OH, passed away July 9, 2016 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 6, 1923 in Ada, OH, daughter of Howard and Gladys Boutwell Thompson.   She married Theodore Ted Vitaro, Sr. on May 10, 1941.   He preceded her in death on June 16, 1989.
Juanita retired from Freedlander’s after 25 years as a buyer in the children’s dept.   She enjoyed quilting, crocheting,  ceramics and gardening.
Surviving are sons, James (Judy) Vitaro and Theodore Ted (Susan) Vitaro, Jr. both of Wooster, grandson, James T. Vitaro, granddaughter, Cynthia (Doug) McClure, great-grandson, Hunter Vitaro, and great-granddaughters, Hanna and Gabrielle McClure.
In addition to her husband Juanita was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Christopher and Charles Thompson, and a sister, Mary Fordenwalt.
Services will be held at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 13 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ken Thomas officiating.   Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
