WOOSTER “ Kenneth C. Rupert, 67, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
He was born May 7, 1949 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the son of Darrell and Lois Carl Rupert.
He retired as an Industrial Cleaner for H & H Industrial Services, MPW Industrial Services, OP Tech, Related Ventures Inc and part-time for Enterprise.   Kenneth was a member of the Elks and the Izaak Walton League.   He enjoyed cars, golfing and canoeing with his grandchildren.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1967-1971 during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Justin (Kristin Barnes) Rupert of Columbus and Amy (Jeff) Kota of Wooster; grandchildren, Dakota Barnes, McKinley Barnes, Zane Kota and Gage Kota and sisters, Dene (Gary) Bentley of Bradford, Pennsylvania and Nancy (Jim) Walters of Lewis Run, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Merrianne McKinney Rupert on January 22, 2010.
Friends will be received at the Elks Lodge, Wooster on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 2-4:00 p.m.
Private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
