Kenneth Eugene Collins, 79, of Apple Creek died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice.

He was born October 21, 1937 in Little Hocking to Nay and Mildred Frederick Collins.  On December 1, 1961 he married Linda L. Ryals in Apple Creek.  She preceded him in death in 2014.

Ken was a member of the Apple Creek United Methodist Church.  He retired from Gerstenslagers after 38 years.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, working outdoors and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children Gary (Peggy) Collins of Dalton, Larry (Beth) Collins of Jeromesville and Lee Ann Tedrow of Apple Creek; grandsons Benjamin Tedrow, Ryan and Seth Collins; step grandchildren Jason (Linda) Wilhite and Kim (Craig) Elliott; great-granddaughters Cheyenne and Emilia Collins; siblings Jim (Juanita) Collins, Denver (Sandra) Collins, Ruth Kerrigan and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife of 53 years, Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tom, Dorsey, Charlie and Harold Collins and sisters Sue Calloway, Sharon Brookover, Jo Ann Lowe and Willamina Maze. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Kenn Curren officiating. 

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

I was so appreciative that you and your parents came to support me when my sisters passed away and I am here for you if you may need anything.
