WOOSTER “ Larry Keith œBig Red  (Howell) Pyle, 69, of Wooster passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1945 in McKeesport, PA, the son of Lyle Gibson Pyle and Lillian Frances Robinson.   He married Sheila J. œNanny  Hebb on January 1, 1975.   She preceded in death on December 18, 2009.
He had been a truck driver for Silver Brothers and then for other companies for many years before becoming disabled in 1989 working at Magni-Power.   He formerly attended the Cathedral of Tomorrow Church, loved singing and listening to his wife ™s band.   He loved to watch westerns, CNN and the History Channels, like to fish and work on cars.   Larry was a member of American Legion Post 68 of Wooster.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Howell of Wooster and his children Cheryl (Steve) Blake of Holmesville, Rod Pyle of Marshallville, Wendy (Stanley) Hammond, Donna Weltmer and Tammy Howell of Wooster; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Richard (Genny) Howell of Burbank, Joey Howell and Vickie (Donnie) Rouse of Wooster and many cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, he was preceded by his father and a sister, Shirley French.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 12:00 Noon service on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating.   Burial will be in the Smithville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses
