Larry Russell Wetz, 74, of Apple Creek passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 at his home.
He was born August 26, 1942 in Millersburg the son of Russell D. and Helen P. VanSickle Wetz.   On July 3, 1965 he married Ruth Winkler who survives.
Larry worked for the Daily Record for 39 years and for Shreve Printing for 5 years.   After his retirement he worked for the Orrville Library and Avalanche Commercial Cleaning.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster and had previously been a member of the Apple Creek Lions Club. Larry enjoyed Bowling, Riding Bike Trails, Auto Racing, and Cutting wood with his brother in law David.
Along with his wife he is survived by his Daughter Brenda Wagers, of Orrville. His mother; Helen Wetz of Wooster. Brothers: Russell F. Wetz of Zanesville, Carl (Elaine) Wetz of Wooster, Phil (Linda) Wetz of Upper Arlington, and Joe (Linda) Wetz of Annapolis Maryland. A step Grandson; Clay Wagers of Wooster. Brothers in Law: David (Carole) Winkler of Wooster and Virgil (Pat) Winkler of Seely Lake Montana.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister in law; Jo Ann Wetz and a son in law; Brian Wagers.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M Wednesday Sept. 28, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church 301 N. Market St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Rev. Ann Paynter officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 301 N. Market St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 or to LifeCare Hospice 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
