WOOSTER “ Loretta Crites, 93, of Wooster passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born April 25, 1924 in Braxton, West Virginia, the daughter of Enos Lee and Daisy Lockard Brady.   She married Robert P. Crites on January 26, 1946.   He preceded her in death on August 14, 2007.
She retired from the Wooster Eye Center in 1992 after 35-1/2 years of service.   Loretta was an active member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church.   She was also a member of the Hobby Club, a quilter, a crafter, a seamstress and cake decorator.
Surviving are her children, Steven (Judy) Crites and Susan (Philip) Bicker both of Wooster; grandchildren, Mark (Kathy) Crites, Amy (Jorn) Baxstrom, Jennifer (Craig) Piatt, Dale (Sarah) Bicker and Kevin (Rachel) Bicker; great-grandchildren, Sophia Baxstrom, Calin Baxstrom, Hudson Baxstrom, Aiden Piatt, Elijah Piatt, Evelyn Piatt, Abigail Bicker, James Bicker, Lillian Bicker and Oliver Bicker.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents and her siblings, William Brady, Freda Blake and Pearl Westfall.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, 5100 Cleveland Rd., Wooster with the Rev. Kristen Patt Officiating.   Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
