WOOSTER “ Mabel Sevilla Jordan, 88, of Wooster passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born September 15, 1927 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Russell O. and Miriam Sunkel Emerson.   She married Warren Jordan on September 21, 1946.   He preceded her in death in 1996.
She was the owner and operator of the Kaffee House restaurant in Wooster until 2011 (formerly Perkins Pancake House).   She had also owned the Harvest Table Buffet in Savannah, Ohio.   Mabel enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Jake) Skalsky and James (Susie) Jordan both of Wooster, Thomas (Sara) Jordan of Apple Creek and Nancy (Charlie) Holt of Smithville; grandchildren, Elaine (Jon) Bryant, Elizabeth Hart, Myla (Josh) Hershberger, Richard (Heather) Jordan, Warren (Melisa) Jordan, April (Matt) Tobias, Chris (Elisha) Jordan, Ammey (Rod) Frank, Keith (Natasha) Holt, Jason Jordan, Terra Jordan, Amy Rickard, Eric Rickard and Curtis Taulbee, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her siblings, Betty Perry, Daisy Hardy, Miriam Moore, Martha Robertson, Rhea Daugherty and Pat Chelski all of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Wayne Jordan and siblings, Gladys Maxheimer, John, Bill and Bob Emerson.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday,  June 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Tobias officiating.   Burial will follow in Ashland Memorial Park.
