WOOSTER Margaret Peggy Tomasetti, 85 of Wooster passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman.
She was born August 12, 1929 in Wooster, the daughter of Earl Grube Messmore and Esther Hartel Smith. She married Francis Frankie Tomasetti on November 29, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Peggy was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She loved her cat Lily, her 4 pm coffee, baking and cooking. She had a perpetual smile that was contagious and adored her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by a daughter, Carol (Craig) Sherman of Wooster; grandchildren, Bethany Evans of Medina, David (Alisha) Evans of Wadsworth, Dominic and Anthony Theodore of North Royalton; great-grandchildren Carla Rosemarie Evans and Kourtney Renee Evans and a brother Charles (Nancy) Messmore of Massillon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son David E. Tomasetti, a daughter Sue A. Theodore and a brother George Messmore.
It was Peggy s wishes to be cremated and to have no calling hours.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
