Marian Idella Zimmerman, 83, of Wooster died Monday November 24, 2014 at Danbury Woods.
She was born March 8, 1931 in Akron to Miles and Ruth Hartzler Bishop.   On July 22, 1950, she married Dale L. Zimmerman.   He preceded her in death in 2009.
Marian was a homemaker.   She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the LoCo Club.   She loved gardening, baking, cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Gary (Deb) Zimmerman of Wooster, Craig (Charlene) Zimmerman of Jeromesville, Todd Zimmerman of Wooster, Cheryl (Howard) Carter of Raeford, NC, Lisa (Robert) Keiffer of Ashland, Sandra Hicks of Dalton and Fred Zimmerman of FL; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother Phil (Ruth) Bishop of Wooster and a sister Julie (Ric) Hughes of Newark.
Along with her husband, Marian was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mark Zimmerman, a brother David Bishop and a sister Janice Bishop.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Rd., Wooster, with Rev. Mel Kirk officiating.   Interment will follow in New Pittsburg Cemetery.   Friends will be received on Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
