Burbank, Ohio “ Marilyn Wyckoff of Burbank, passed peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio after a long period of declining health.   Marilyn was born February 17, 1930, in Marshallville, Ohio to John and Emma (Butzer) Kelbly.   She was a graduate of Dalton High School in 1948.   She married Winston L. Wyckoff Jr. of Burbank, Ohio on December 28, 1952.   Winston passed in January of 2006.
Marilyn was a waitress, a telephone operator, and a banker prior to marrying Winston.   After her marriage she became a homemaker and bookkeeper for the Wyckoff Family Farm.   Her main focus was raising her three children, but she also made time to be an activity member of the following organizations:   Ohio Cattle Women ™s Association (Cow Bells), Wayne County Farm Bureau, a 70 year member of the Eastern Star, a 50 year member of the Northwest 11 Farm Council, Wayne Presbyterian Church, Norwayne Athletic Boosters and finally she played euchre with the same group of friends for over 60 years.   She was an amazing cook, an avid seamstress, a veracious reader and loved to sing.   During the time she attended Kent State University she was a member of the choir.   She enjoyed occasionally modeling for Freedlanders Department Store and the William Annett Co. at charity events.   Raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life.
Marilyn is survived by her children, David (fiancée ™ Elizabeth Fronhnapel) Wyckoff of Cambridge, Winston (Christine) Wyckoff III of Burbank, and Janice Wyckoff of Burbank.   Her three grandchildren Winston IV (Karlee), Olivia, and Wyatt.   She is also survived by her brother ™s John œWes  Kelbly of Texas and George (Karen) Kelbly of North Lawrence and all of their children.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Winston Jr. and by her parents.
Calling hours will be held at McIntire, Bradham and Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Robert Fetterhoff.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Wayne Presbyterian Church, 7152 Burbank Road, Wooster 44691, People to People Ministries, 454 E. Bowman St., Wooster 44691.
The family would like to thank the staff at Burbank Parke for the wonderful care of our mother over the last 3 ½ years.
