WOOSTER “ Mary Louise Richey, 76, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 19, 1938 in Orrville, the daughter of Creed O. and Mabel Miller Parsons.   She married Clyde David Richey on April 25, 1959.   He survives.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.   Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and working in her gardens.   She had a heart of gold and will be missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Terry) Hoffer, Paul (Beth) Richey, Margaret (Steve Scott) Richey and Catherine (Rick) Ott all of Wooster and Stephanie (Ron) James of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Chris Hoffer, Sarah (Kevin Aiken)  Hoffer,  William, Bryan and Adam James, Katelyn Richey and Skylar Scott, great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Hoffer, Kellen Aiken and Alex Robinson; her siblings, Wanda (Richard) Horrocks of Wellington, Edith Loveland of New Market, MD and Creed O., Jr. (Ester) Parsons of Smithville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Nancy Chilcote and Betty Smith.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., with the Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant.   Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Wooster Community Hospital and West View Healthy Living and LifeCare Hospice  for the excellent care given to Mary.
