WOOSTER “ Michael J. Siegel, 54, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his home.
He was born January 16, 1960 in Oceanside, Calif., the son of Joseph D. and Janet Barsic Siegel.   He married Penny Fitzpatrick on December 14, 2006.   She survives.
He had worked for Rayco as a welder and was currently a senior in the Bachelor ™s Program at Wayne College.   Michael was a member of the Heartland Christian Center and was a lifelong musician.   He enjoyed playing base, singing and writing music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents of Wooster, his children, Jared (Adrienne) Siegel of California, Missouri, David (Ashley) Siegel of Medina; step-children, Jeremy (Leah) White of Smithville, Jesse White of New Philadelphia and Susie White of Wooster; 16 grandchildren, a sister, Tina (Richard) Briggs of Jeromesville and a brother, Jerry (Linda) Siegel of Wooster.   He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 4-7:00 p.m.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Sustar officiating.   Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
