Nancee Kay Morgan, 78, of Wooster, passed away in the loving comfort of her family early Monday morning, June 1st, 2015. She was born December 10 1936, in Sturgis, Michigan to Anne and Waldo Johnson.  
Nancee graduated from Wooster High School in 1955 and was very active in œW  girls and had been inducted into the Wooster High School Sports Hall of Fame.   She received her B.S.N. in Nursing from The Ohio State University School of Nursing in 1959 and later her M.S. in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 1991. Nancee would use this education in a variety of ways in the Wooster community for many years.   She was a Nurse Practitioner at the Women ™s Health Center and probably helped over half of the community of Wooster throughout their pregnancies during that time.   Nancee also taught birthing classes and set up fathers in the delivery room.   She taught adult student nurses through Wayne County Schools Career Center.
Nancee enjoyed people and was actively involved in many organizations and clubs especially the Wooster United Methodist Church.   Her faith was strong and she loved singing in the church choir as well as with the Unity Singers and Choral Union.   She attended Bible Study religiously.
She was a member of Travelers Club, Colony Club, the Red Hat ™s Society and Thursday Bridge Club.   For many years she was a member of the Junior Women ™s Club and served as president. She was integral in starting the Lunch Bunch which consisted of former members of the Junior Women ™s Club which continues to meet every two months.   Her friendships were very dear to her.
Nancee was very involved with the community of Wooster and volunteered her time in many ways.   She was on the Board of People to People Ministries and served as President. She was also a Friend of Every Woman ™s House.
Most of all, Nancee loved her family and cherished her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three children Deana (Mark) Osbahr of Little River, S.C; Cy (Dena) Morgan and Miriam Stokes both of Wooster;  8 grandchildren Amanda Osbahr and Kendra (Mickey) Trexler, Cy and Hanna Morgan, Grant, Mollie, Olivia and Luke Stokes; sister Mary Anne Szarka of Wooster as well as her former husband James C. (Cy) Morgan.   She would be in attendance at every sporting event, award ceremony and celebration for her grandchildren in recent years even enduring the unpredictable Ohio weather at various football, lacrosse, and track events.   Along with attending such events, she loved her sweets often making trips to Dairy Queen and Troyers.  
Friends will be received at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster on Tuesday, June 9th   from 6:00 “ 8:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life service will be held at the Wooster United Methodist Church,   243 N. Market Street, on Wednesday June 10th at 11:00 a.m.
