ORRVILLE – Nita Ann KAIN, 78, of Orrville, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Aultman Orrville Hospital in Orrville.
She was born June 4, 1936 in Smithville, the daughter of Williard and Grace Lucille Sayre Brant.   She married Richard R. Kain on March 18, 1955.   He preceded her in death in 1986.
She retired from the Mr. Wigg’s Department Store.   She was an active member of the Overton Community Church and the Smithville Historical Society.   Nita enjoyed bowling, flowers and gardening and taking care of her family.   She also loved her cats.
Surviving are her children, Randy (Susan) Kain of Wooster, Mark (Bonnie) Kain of West Salem and` Krista Kain of Millersburg, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother’s, Ray Lee Brant of Hayden, AL and Don Brant of St. Petersburg, FL.
In addition to her husband, Nita was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Crystal Kain, a sister Ida Mae Mosier and a special friend, Albert L. Costanzo.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Pastor Allan Aubrey                                               officiating.   Interment will follow in the Smithville Cemetery.
