Norma Mae Still, 82, of Wooster and formerly of Brooksville Florida passed away Saturday July 12, 2014 at her home in Wooster.
She was born March 26, 1932 in Creston, Ohio the daughter of Ora M. and Roxie Brown Messmore.   In 1951 she married Ralph A. Gonser and in 1961 married Alfred C. Weirick both whom preceded her in death.   On May 2, 1972 she married Louis E. Still who survives.
Norma was a 1951 graduate from Wooster High School.   She was a lifetime member of the Wayne County saddle Club, and advisor for the 4H horse program for 23 years where she had a ball working with the kids.   She loved painting ceramics both for fun and for competition and won the highest amateur award the United States offers.   Norma loved raising her children and step children, and all the neighborhood children that grew up in her house and was grateful for the chance to have touched at least one heart and one life.   She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and taking cruises.   She had worked at the Wooster Brush Company, International Paper and worked for Walter Jones Construction flagging traffic.   She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Millersburg.
She is survived by her husband Louis E. Still of Wooster. Children: Denise A. (Bill) Weinbroer of Grafton, Keith A. Gonser of Wooster, Jeff M. (Lori) Gonser of West Salem and Steven W. Gonser of Brooksville Florida. Step-Children: Gary L. (Janey) Still of Wooster, Greg Still of Creston, Laurie G. Hall of Creston, Gail L. (Anthony) Perry of Columbus, Brenda G. (Jim) Harter of Fredericksburg and Alvin W. (Wendy) Weirick of Wooster.   28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Also preceding Norma in death were her two brothers Glenn W. (Effie) Messmore and Milo D. (Betty) Messmore.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 16, 2014 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Weaver officiating.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M.
