SHREVE “ Norman Lewis œBeef  Snyder, Jr., 76, of Shreve passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
He was born October 21, 1939 to Norman and Mary Shifferly Snyder.   He married Jean Weaver on June 29, 1963.   She survives.
He graduated from Shreve High School in 1959.   Norman joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.   After his service time was completed, he returned home and was hired by Rubbermaid where he worked for 40 years.   He enjoyed spending time with his coffee buddies at the Wooster Marathon Station.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Mike and Ron of Shreve; a sister Betty (Tom) Chronister; brothers-in-law, Roger (Diane) and Dale Weaver along with nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours or services as requested by the family.
Private family interment will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
