Patricia Lynn Lahey, 65, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, June 23 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who touched many lives with her humor, creativity and kindness.
Patty was born December 15, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Mary and William Lahey. She attended St. Mary ™s Catholic elementary school and graduated from Wooster High School in 1969.   In 1973 she completed her degree in Fine Arts from the University of Dayton. She also attended the Fine Art School at the Paris American Academy in France.
Patty was an accomplished multi-media artist who created: beautiful paintings; innovative ceramics, including a set of musical instruments all made out of clay; and arresting photographs and graphic designs. She also designed and fabricated theater sets and costumes, including for the Ohio Light Opera. She loved teaching art to all ages and abilities.
Patty faced many life challenges. She knew heartache. Despite her struggles she maintained a generous spirit, an active sense of humor, and found beauty wherever she was. During her later years she lived among her many friends at Scenic Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Millersburg.
