WOOSTER “ Richard E. œDick  Lemmon, 74, of Wooster passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Akron General Hospital.
He was born October 17, 1943 in Wayne Co., the son of Kenneth E. and Twila V. Swan Lemmon.   He married Donna Mae Wilson on February 9, 1963.   She preceded him in death on January 23, 2016.
Dick had worked at the H. Freedlander Company for over 40 years and retired as company president.   He was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church, a 2 time exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge, a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and the Corvette Club.   He loved the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and wintering in Florida.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his children, Tracy (Ryan) Schlabach of Millersburg and Tony (Erika) Lemmon of Wooster; grandchildren, Taylor, Peyton and Courtney Boss and Adria and Aley Lemmon; a step-grandchild, Kennedy Schlabach; several brothers and sisters-in-laws and nieces and nephews and a special friend, Marty Rogers of Wooster.
In addition to his wife, Donna, Dick was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Norma Aukerman and Glenda Lemmon.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 3-5:00 p.m. with an Elks memorial service at 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the West Hill Baptist Church, 2241 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Wingate and Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.   Private family burial will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wooster Citizens Police Adacemy Alumni Assoc., 505 N. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691.

Service
Funeral services will be held at the West Hill Baptist Church, 2241 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Wingate and Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.   Private family burial will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
