DALTON “ Robert Edward Jackson, Jr., 48, of Dalton passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
He was born October 28, 1967 in Canton, the son of Robert Edward Sr. and Rosemary Pomesky Jackson. He married Jaime Janeen Edwards on October 7, 2006.   She survives.
He was the owner of his own Sales and Marketing Business.   He was a member of Parkview Christian Church and had proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the American Legion, Broken Lock Longrifles, A Friend of Bill, NRA, worked with STEPS, Wooster Hope Center, D-Z at 6:00, gave free guitar lessons to the youth and members of the Church, Advocate for Compassion International, Jail Ministry at the Wayne Co. Jail and was an avid Steelers fan.   Bob had a servant ™s heart.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother of Waynesburg, his children Scott (Adriel Pierson) Jackson of Canton, Lillian Jackson and Gabriel Jackson both of the home; a granddaughter, Aubrianna Jackson, step-grandchildren A.J. and Ashton Pierson and his siblings, Diane Longstreth of Streetsboro, Mark Jackson of Louisville, Jeannie Jackson of Dacula, Georgia, his mother and father-in-law, Jim and Bonnie Edwards of Wooster and his sister and brother-in-law Jen and Kennie Hatfield and his nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Eleanor Elizabeth Jackson in 2007.
Friends will be received at the Parkview Christian Church, 1912 Burbank Road, Wooster on Wednesday evening, April6, 2016 from 5-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Church on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Brian White officiating.   Private family burial will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
