WOOSTER – Robert Bobby Hudson, 55, of Wooster lost his 2 year battle with cancer and went home to be to be with the Lord on June 27, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.   Bobby was born Feb. 7, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Boyd Lester and Mary Patrica (Tooman) Hudson.
Known as FAT Boy to friends and family, he was an OTR Truck Driver before his illness.   He enjoyed working on CB Radios and playing Poker, was an avid collector of the American Eagle and passionate about the American Flag flying where ever he lived.   When his  health allowed, he would take the riding mower around the neighborhood and mow lawns.   He was outgoing (never met a strnger in his life).   and very boisterous.   At home he enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his beloved pets Gibson, Mercedes and Oreo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Gloria, a brother, James and his favorite uncle, Eugene.  
Surviving are his wife Rose (Davis) Hudson, his beloved Auntie Mom, Mary l. Hudson of Medina, Ohio, two daughters, Christine and Casi of southern Ohio, brothers, Dale (Bonnie) Hudson of W. Farmington,Ohio, and Tom Hudson of Florida, sister’s-in-Iaw, Lisa (Tim) Heiks of Wooster, Pam (Ralph) Brenneman of Wooster and brother-in-law Bill (Kelly) Davis of Wooster and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to thank: Darlene Phillips, his home health aide for the last year, for her kindness and devotion in her care of Bobby. Jim Mclaughlin, his LifeCare-Hospice Volunteer, who came to visitBobby week in and week out for their guy time so his wife could take care of things outside the home. The family would also like to thank the staff at LifeCare Hospice of Wooster for all their home visits over the past year and their thoughtfulness and kindness in caring for Bobby at their In Patient Unit over the past week.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor David Zammert officiating.
