WOOSTER “ Roy D. Weaver, 73, answered the call and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 16, 2015, lovely surrounded by his family, at home, on 7221 W. Smithville Western Road, Wooster, Ohio.
In his youth he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church.   He attended Northwestern and was engaged in dairy and poultry farming.
Rejoicing with him, is his wife, Doris (Good) Weaver, whom he married on June 7, 1964 and his children, Linda (Clair) Oberholtzer of Loudonville, OH, Nelson (Connie) Weaver of Sandusky, Mich., LaRoy D. (Debra) Weaver of Polk, OH, Loren (Sarah) Weaver of West Salem, OH, Lavon (Julia) Weaver of Wooster and Doris Lorraine Shurtliff of Oregon, also 3 sisters and 4 brothers, Edith (John) Peterson of Caldonia, OH, Naomi (Junior) Richard of Wooster, Harvey (Ina) Weaver of Ind, Melvin (Ruth) Weaver of Penn., Virgil (Janet) Weaver of Wooster, Elam C. (Ella Mae) Weaver of Penn., Lydia Ann (Dana) Good of West Salem, along with 42 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Awaiting to welcome him were his parents, Elam and Lydia Weaver, 1 brother Elmer Weaver, and a special grandma Barbara (Gehman) Weaver.
Visitation will be held at Pine View School, 4730 Rutt Rd., Wooster, OH, Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.   Private burial prior to services at the Chester Mennonite Church Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is handling the arrangements.
