Ruth J. Reed œPetry  Neal, 79, of Wooster died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Glendora Care Center.
She was born February 7, 1937 in Apple Creek, Ohio to James and Nettie Harrison Reed. On August 9, 2009 she married James Neal. He survives.
Ruth had worked at The Wooster Brush Company, The Wooster Community Hospital and was a Realtor for Hal Franks Realty. She was a member of Emmanuel Old Stone Church.
Ruth is survived by her husband James, her children Kathy (Jay) Chupp of Benton, AR, Clinton (Connie) Kahrig of Jacksonville, AR, Clayton Kahrig of Millersburg, Tom Reed of West Salem, step-children, Terry Neal and Ruthi Evans, both of Florida and a brother, Roger (Elaine) Reed of West Salem. Grandchildren Travis Chupp, Jaylynne Koch, Lukas Chupp, Grace Chupp, Sam Kahrig, Mike Kahrig, Melissa Kahrig, James Kahrig, Joey Kahrig, Zina Keene, Zatina Reed, Zachary Reed and JoJo Reed along with 4 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren.  
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Helen Allen and two brothers, Alvin and Richard Reed.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster with Pastor Dan Bartkowiak officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6-8 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home.
Contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
