Samuel Kenneth Morris, 67, of Ashland, Ohio, entered into rest November 23, 2015 after a long period of declining health at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.   Sam was born September 9, 1948 in Allegheny Co., PA to Charles E. and Hazel A. Hamilton Morris.
A celebration of his life will be held as Central Christian Church in Wooster, Ohio at later date.
He lived in the Wooster area most of his life and worked with United Telephone and then Sprint, from 1968 until his retirement.
Sam has one daughter, Catherine E. Grey of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Allie and Joshua Grey; two siblings, Dr. L. Delyte Morris of Cedarville, and Barbara Morris Lett of Florida as well as one nephew, Jeremy (Heather) Burns; nieces Tammy (Ken) Botham, Misty (Shawn) Baker, Megan and Morgan Taylor, April (Patrick) Huffman, Gayle (Vince) Hummel and Vicki Coblentz as well as a much loved brothers in law, Dana Taylor and Ken Lett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Carol Wood and Linda Taylor and wife, Barbara Martin Morris Krider.
Sam was a beloved son, father,  grandfather, brother, uncle (Uncle Buck), and a friend to all who were fortunate enough to meet him.   He will be sadly missed by all.
Sam was a great lover of pets, especially cats.   You may make donations in his name to your local animal or no kill shelter.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
