APPLE CREEK “ Sylvia B. McSweeney, 73, of Apple Creek passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born February 11, 1944 in Greenwood, South Carolina, the daughter of Frank and Evelyn Davenport Bagwell.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary for a law firm, had done factory work and worked in the cotton mills.   She was a member of the Friendship Presbyterian Church in Hickory Tavern, South Carolina.
She is survived by her children, Barbi (Nicholas) Peterson of Apple Creek, Renee (John) Sears of Wooster, Lance (Stefanie) Traynham of W. Salem, Tammy Traynham of Ashland and Frankie (Samantha) Traynham of Hickory Tavern, South Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Coker, Brittney Lothridge, Lindsey Harvley, Kayla Lothridge, Zackary Sears, Patrick Traynham, Brandon Peterson, Hope Peterson, Taylor Traynham, Collin Traynham, Christian Traynham, Samantha Hall, Whitney Hall, Tayler Wilkie, Stasi Canfield, Logan Traynham, Dakota Traynham, Hunter Traynham, Courtney Bragg and Chris Hall; 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Randy Bagwell.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 4-6:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at the Friendship Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Hickory Tavern, SC on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
