WOOSTER – Timothy J Tylka, 54, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the MedCentral Health System in Mansfield surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 12, 1960 in Wooster, the son of Marion G and Eleanor E Kopp Tylka.
He was a supervisor at United Titanium for 30 years and had previously worked at Stahl’s and Astro Mettalurgical. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes.   He enjoyed going to sporting events, coaching  Triway  PeeWee  football and landscaping.
Tim was a proud supporter of United Way, The American Cancer Society and Relay for life.
Surviving are his mother of Wooster and his siblings, Chris (Duane) Hamlin, Angie Good, Mike (Jann) Tylka all of Wooster and Jeff (Sharon) Tylka of Shreve, many nieces and nephews and his United Titanium family.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m.
A Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
