WOOSTER “ Wallace Axel Johnson, 94, of Wooster passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Brookdale Senior Living.
He was born June 12, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Axel and Margaret (Johnson) Johnson.   He married Doris Lillian Johnson on August 29, 1953. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2009.
He was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with an Engineering Degree  had been employed by General Electric for 42 years as an Engineer.   He was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Valley of Cleveland Mason, the Kiwanis Club in Orange Village.   Wallace was a former resident of Orange Village.
He is survived by his children Margaret (Stuart) Miller of Wooster and Wallace (Connie) Johnson of Graff, Missouri; grandchildren Rebecca (Brian) Bruening, Jeremy Johnson, Dr. Cameron (Liz) Miller; great-grandchildren Cayden and Brooke Miller.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

The family would like to extend a special a special thank you to Brookdale Senior Living and their staff  for the excellent care and compassion shown to both Wallace and Doris while they were both residents at their facility.
