WOOSTER — William Billy Shaffer, 60, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly at his home of natural causes on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.
He was born March 16, 1954 in Wooster to Phillip and JoAnn Shaffer. They preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Cleveland Browns and NASCAR fan.
Surviving are children, Betty (Greg) Whitmire of Texas, Katrina (Mike) Harrah, Bill Good and Eric Good, all of Wooster; grandchildren, Hai-Lee and Jace Quaid of Texas, Connor, Makenna and Emma Harrah, and Sabrina Good, all of Wooster; a great-grandson, Cameron Edinger; and cousins, Daniel (Kathaleen) Jones of Wooster.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. at the American Legion, Wooster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Marjorie A. Shaffer-Jones.
